10. LEAKS / SPILLS 11. Should be picked up with a shovel, filling a receptacle properly labeled and closed for later disposal. Wash with plenty of water and contain to avoid flow through fluvial routes and drainage. Ask for assistance for its disposal. The dissolution of Calcium Chloride is neutralized adding Sodium Carbonate. Calcium Chloride waste should be handled according the actual State or Federal regulations.
12. FIRE 13. Calcium Chloride is a NON-COMBUSTIBLE product. It is not susceptible to cause flame or explosions.
14. CONTAMINATION 15. It is highly hygroscopic, releasing heat when solved in water. The aqueous solution is corrosive, attacks aluminum and its alloys.
16. INTOXICATION / EXPOSITION

17. It is not absorbed through the skin, may cause injury after long exposure. Ingestion: immediately induce vomit, giving two glasses of water to pacient and introduce finger in the throat. Call a doctor

18. MEDICAL INFORMATION / FIRST AIDS 19. Eyes:  Wash immediately with running water for at least fifteen minutes. Call a doctor or take patient to nearest medical institution.
Skin: Wash with water until clean. Ingestion: immediately induce vomit, giving two glasses of water to patient and introduce finger in the throat.
Inhalation: Take patient to an area with fresh air.
