One of the fields where Temprado has been used is interior architecture, to divide spaces or close rooms in such a way that everything is at sight, light, but at the same time with enough resistance and with the minimum risk of hurting people in case of break.
Tempering Fronts are manufactured with float glass of 10 mm colourless or colourful: grey, green or bronze; but in those cases in which they suffer continuous strikes, as in sport courts, we use float glass of 12 mm.
The pieces of Temprado are fixed to the walls and ceilings by fitting or by means of some metallic pieces normally made of stainless steel or brass, and a Temprado pieces always going another one with metallic pieces, which adopt several from two pieces of Temprado farming an angle, forming a ceiling, right angles, etc... In the large Temprado fronts it's necessary to put buttresses which provide stiffness.
These buttresses have normally the same thickness as the front and use to be set in tree ways:
- In the shape a board, which covers only one part of the height - In two or more rectangular pieces, covering the whole height. They can be in both sides of the front and their width will be superior to 250 mm. - In just one piece along the whole height in one or both sides of the front. Its with will be superior to 200 mm
In the fronts, there are usually one or two doors, made of Tempered glass as well, with it's corresponding hinges and turning points and usually with hydraulic door shutter.
These doors are standardised in for dimensions.
